In our Lynedoch budget of news is contained the announcement of the death in action at the Ypres 
fight of Russel [sic], second son of Rev. George Ross, Presbyterian minister at Lynedoch and Carholme.

LYNEDOCH

Word was received on June 8th of the death of 
Russel [sic] C. Ross, second son of Rev. and Mrs. Geo. Ross 
of this place at the recent severe engagement at Ypres. Much sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones.
