Sergeant Robert Prentice (796006) of Simcoe is
reported as having been dangerously wounded 
and gassed on 21 Sep 1917.

Prentice -- Killed in action, 1 Oct 1918 somewhere in France, Robert, eldest and deeply beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. John Prentice, Simcoe, in his 26th year.

There is nothing left but his photo on the wall.
