Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hammond received word from the Records Office on Dominion Day that their son Herbert, reported missing since 28 Aug 1918, is now officially declared dead.

In Memoriam

HAMMOND -- In Proud and Loving Memory of Private Bert Hammond, who was wounded at the Battle of Amiens, and died 12 Aug 1918 at the hospital in France, in his 22nd year; also of Private Herbert W. Hammond, missing since 25 Aug 1918, at the Battle of Arras, in his 24th year.
                                        Mother, Father and Brothers.
