Died. Private G. C. Dickie of Middleton 

 

The following is from a page 1 article in the 5 Jul 1917 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

PTE. GEORGE C. DICKIE

"Killed in Action" in France, May 30th, 1917

Private Dickie is a son of Mr. George Dickie, who lives in Middleton, near Delhi. 

Another son, William, went with the 133rd. 

Pte. George Dickie was [28] years of age and single. He enlisted at Regina, with a Canadian Scottish Battalion.
