A lightly edited item from the Kelvin column on page 10 of the 
14 Nov 1918 issue of the Simcoe Reformer.

Mr. and Mrs. Hiram J. Andrews received the sad news on Monday from a nurse in France that their son George Andrews had died in the hospital on 4 Oct 1918.

Deceased enlisted for overseas service a few months ago. He was in his 20th year.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrews and son Clifford will have the deepest sympathy of the whole community in their sorrow.
