[Compiler's Comment: text is
difficult to read. We think it says born 28 Aug 1812, but others
have transcribed this date as 30 Aug 1812. This is the only known
surviving readable stone in Norfolk with the Offord surname. The
picture below is of the same cemetery stone taken 8 Oct 2008 by John
