From 1901 Census: George, born 27 Apr 1894, was a son of
Samuel and Mary Goodale.

From his 29 Mar 1961 Simcoe Reformer:
George Leon Goodale, 67, a native of Windham Township, who farmed until 1953 when he suffered a stroke and had been in poor health ever since, died at his home in Otterville Tuesday. Survived by his wife, Gladys Hill, and three married sisters. Deceased was a member of Bookton Presbyterian Church, later joining the Otterville United Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star at Scotland. Interment: Bookton Cemetery.
