Boysie Gerald Hoye was born 7 Nov 1928 in Alberta, son of 
Sidney F. "Sid" Hoye and Rose V. Durrant. After graduating 
University of Toronto, he married Betty Bock in Hamilton. 
They lived on Gibson Drive, Simcoe. Boysie was general 
manager of St. Williams Preserves when it closed the 
Simcoe jam making plant in 1971, then transferred to 
Wagstaffs in Hamilton. He was a member of the Simcoe 
Lions Club. Boysie and Betty had two sons, three daughters. 
Boysie, 43, died 16 Apr 1972 in Simcoe, following a car crash.
