Identified Jul 2003 by schoolmate Bill Cardiff
Identified 12 Mar 2004 by his brother John Brunt

"Person 109 is my brother Harry Joseph Brunt. Harry was born 22 Nov 1918 in Chicago, IL and died 12 Aug 1987 in Hamilton, ON. I came along in the fall of 1932. Harry was a long time employee of the American Can Company in Niagara Falls, Hamilton and Toronto. He was well known in Simcoe in the 1930's and 1940's for his ability with his trombone and cartoons (see "Sprinkling on Sports by Howard Shower" column in the Simcoe Reformer in the late 30's). Harry was a member of the Simcoe Boy's Band and Red Eaton's band in the 30's and Tommy Trevor's orchestra in the 40's (Tommy White played the bass violin)."

From Herb Carter: "Very talented guy. Great trombonist. Played one summer in Tommy Dorsey band. At home played with Tommy Trevour band. Great characturist. Worked at Carter's Men's Wear after school and a couple of summers. Later with the American Can office in Hamilton."
