student Irving "Chet" Ryerson DeFields Tentative identification by Wilf Cardiff. Confirmation by his nephew Broc De Fields of Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia, who emailed 30 Dec 2004: "[Person 8 is] my uncle Irving "Chet" Ryerson De Fields. Born 1916, served in WWII as an entertainer. Married Betty Madley in 1943, had five children. Worked for Brook Woolen Mill in Simcoe then for Norfolk County School Board at Walsh Public School. His residence for 40 years was on Hwy 24. He died June 1990."
