Snider Identified in Port Ryerse 1794-1994 [as John Snyder] Identification confirmed 7 Oct 2004 by Steven Shinbin From Steven: John Snider was born 29 Jan 1886 in Woodhouse township, second son of Adam Snider and Sara Jane Roberts. On 23 Sep 1914 John married Laura Florence Powell (born 23 Mar 1894 in Woodhouse). They had six children. Laura died 11 Nov 1962. John died 28 May 1964. (Adam Snider was eldest son of Conrad
Snider and his first wife, making John an
uncle of the other Snyder/Snider children in this photo.)
