Leslie C. Fairbairn Identified by classmates Vicki Abbey and Gary Lennon. Les Fairbairn and his wife Helen (Morrison) Fairbairn were popular Norfolk County elementary school teachers for many years. Les joined the teaching staff of North School in 1946 and retired 30 years later in 1976. He remembered former students names late into his life. -- also see L. C. Fairbairn in 1950 North School photo A member of Kinsmen, Norfolk Lodge and Old Windham United Church, Les was predeceased by his wife and one of their two daughters when he passed away 18 Aug 2015, at the age of 95. He was survived by a daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a sister.
