If you don't have a fast DVD writer in
your PC, now's the time to add one. That way you will be able to share your
video with others who have a DVD player on their PC or TV.
While you are at it, grab a pile of DVDs, and a
disc labeling program. Click

If you didn't get a second, large,
fast hard drive with your PC, now would be a good time for that too.
Video files are huge, and hard drives have to keep up with the camcorder when
transfering ("capturing") video from tape. Consequently you needs
lots of fast disk storage space.
