"All of Thursday night's scoring with the exception of one play engineered by Don Ryerse, burly defenceman, was done by Roxy's high powered front line shown above. From left to right, they are Harry Ferris, right-winger, who accounted for one goal and had assists on two others; Eddie O'Donnell, centre, ice playmaker who was kept off the score sheet for the first time in a long while, and Sandy Wood, left-wing, who rapped home a pair of goals."
