| This is: teacher Jim Causley Identified 16 Sep 2009 by Joan (Coones) Horn Identified 26 Sep 2009 by Shirley (Holden) Ross James Robert Causley graduated Queens University, then saw action in Europe with the WWII Royal Canadian Artillery. He met and married Paddy while in Britain. After the war he taught at Simcoe High (circa 1947-1954) before leaving Simcoe to become director of the Ontario Teachers Pension Fund. Jim and Paddy retired to Winnipeg to be nearer their grown children. Jim, 92, died there 21 Jan 2010, predeceased by a granddaughter, survived by his wife of 67 years, two children, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. -- also see Jim's obituary Our tour of people in the photo is organized left to right by row. |
