Nicole Cuerrier: Douglas Calvert, only child of Hancey and
Lillian Calvert. He was born
16 Dec 1927. In 1952, he married
Frances Feargue. Doug worked as office manager and
bookkeeper at St.Williams Preserves, then as an accountant
with the Norfolk Board of Education in
Simcoe.
Doug enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and golf.
He also enjoyed coaching both baseball and hockey.
Doug and Frances had
3 daughters and 5 grandchildren, who
are all still living in the area. Doug passed away
4 Apr 1997 at
the age of 69. [Also see SHS
