2 Apr 1924 in Otterville, Ont., daughter of Albert Joseph Madgett
and Lottie Beatrice Modeland. Graduated Hamilton's Teacher's College 1945. Obtained B.A. from St. Jerome's College at Waterloo University in 1977. Taught in Port Dover Public School two years; taught at North Public School in Simcoe for 28 years. Taught Sunday School at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. Still active in St. Paul's Mission Circle. Served as campaign chairperson for Arthritis Society. Married Colin Douglas Campbell in 1946. Mother of Richard and Linda.
