This is student: Ross Thompson
Identified on the back of the photo and by Wayne Long

Life-long resident of Port Dover, W. Ross Thompson was the brother of Helen Thompson. A life-long resident of Port Dover, Ross became the third generation to manage the family businesses W.B. Thompson and Son Funeral Home and Thompson Furniture store. He and his wife Betsy had a son and daughter. Ross was a member of the I.O.O.F., and commodore of Port Dover Yacht Club. He enjoyed his boat fishing, cottage and boat house. Ross, retired in 1978 (selling the business to his former apprentice Jack Waters) and passed away at age 93 in 2007.
