From James: My sister Evelyn Marie Horn, eldest child of Edward Leslie Horn and his wife Nina Evelyn Buchner, was born 20 Nov 1913.
She graduated Brantford General Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse 20 Sep 1935 and married Frederick Montgomery Given on 16 Oct 1936.
Evelyn succumbed to a heart attack 8 Feb 1969 at Norfolk General Hospital. She is buried in Port Dover Cemetery.
(Our great grandfather, also named James Horn, emigrate from Scotland in the mid-1850s to the Woodhouse Township area. His grave marker appears in your online
