From Gladys' son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Adelma Leney, via Linda Feere:
Gladys was the daughter of Frank and Irene Downs of 
Prospect Street, Port Dover. She graduated St. Joseph's 
nursing program as an R.N. In 1941 she married 
Parker "Spud" M. Leney. Together they owned 
and operated the Hobby Shop in downtown Port Dover 
from 1947-1979. They had two sons, Dennis and Richard.
