This is Nellie Collver
Identified 2 Aug 2010 by Linda (Oakes) Billo

From Linda (Oakes) Billo: Nellie Collver was my paternal grandmother's first cousin. She was also a cousin of Lena Collver. Born 12 Jul 1890, Nellie was the eldest child of Tom Collver and Mary (May) Post.  Her brothers were George Day Collver, born 7 Jul 1894 and Gordon La Verne Collver, born 8 Feb 1906. Nellie was a very talented dress-maker and an avid reader. On 5 Oct 1926 she married Wilthew (Carl) Foster who was born in Leamington. They lived in Walkerville, Ontario for a number of years until Carl's death. They didn't have any children. In 1951, Nellie's brother, George, had left Norfolk county and bought a farm on the outskirts of Woodstock Ont. Nellie moved to Woodstock, shortly after to be near George and his family. A small house on Victoria Street became her home until she was in her eighties. During this time, my family saw her frequently, and she was always "Aunt" Nellie to everyone. I attended high school just a few blocks from Aunt Nellie's house and often went to see her on my lunch break. Nellie Foster's final years were spent as a resident of Woodingford Lodge Retirement home. She was happy there, and always delighted to have visitors. She died shortly after her 96th birthday, and is buried with Carl in Lakeview Cemetery, Leamington.

Our tour of those in the photo is organized left to right.
