From Kate: Mary Rosene Smith, my maternal grandmother, was born 5 Aug 1895 at Fairground, Houghton Township, Norfolk County. She was the fourth child of Henry Malcolm Oliver Smith and Clara Jeanette Davis. She married widower John Sandford Caverly on 21 Jan 1916 at St. Thomas, Elgin County. She died 13 Mar 1989 in St. Thomas, and is buried in Aylmer Cemetery, Aylmer, Elgin County. For more see: Smith-Davis family overview
