From Linda: Barb was the youngest child of Earl and "Nettie" Awde. When the children attended Doan's Hollow School, the family lived at the corner of the Blue Line and Highway 6. 
Barb married Doug Mummery of Port Dover in 1954. They had 
a son and daughter. Most of their married life in Port Dover Barb worked in the office of the Fisherman's Co-op, Kolbe's, 
the IGA in Simcoe, then spent 23 years working at Ivey's. 
She is sister of Doug Awde and Betty Sherman.
