Herbert J. Hause Identified 8 May 2008 by Bob Whitehead From 25 Oct 1974 Simcoe Reformer: Born in Waterloo, Herb came to Simcoe in 1929 and worked at American Can for 38 years, retiring in 1966. He played and coached hockey and softball, managing the 1952-53 OHA Immediate A champion Simcoe Gunners hockey team. A President and life member of Norfolk Agricultural Society and the Simcoe Who-Did-It Club, Herb was life member of Unit 255, Army, Navy and Air Force, a member Simcoe Kinsmen Club, and a member of Simcoe Town Council.
