The
third annual meeting of the Simcoe Canning Company hockey club was
held Monday at the Queen's Hotel. After some hot hockey talk the
following officers for the season were elected:

Hon. Vice-Pres. -- Frank Cardiff
First Vice. -- Ed. Todd
Second Vice -- Chas. Derrickson
Third Vice -- Dave Pettit
Fourth Vice -- Al Swart
Managers -- C. Innes and E. Ramey
Captain -- Guy Winter
Vice Captain -- A. H. Coombs
Sec.-Tres. -- R. Lefler.
It was
decided by the officers of the club to have blue sweaters with
white trimmings, white pants and red stockings.
It was also
decided to accept all challenges for the cup won last winter by
the Cans.
From all
appearances the Cans should be as strong as last winter, when
they had no difficulty in winning the championship of the county
and town.
