Medical Fees for Norfolk

In an endeavour to get a more standard tariff for medical services in the county, the Doctors of Norfolk County have adopted the following rates. These will become effective 15 May 1921.

  • Visits -- $1.50 and up, depending on the work done and medicines given.
  • Mileage -- Primary visit charge to cover the first mile radius, over that, 50¢ per mile, one way.
  • Night work -- from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., 50% extra
  • Office Consultations -- $1.00 and up, depending on the work done and medicines given.
  • Vaccination -- $1.00
  • Surgical Dressings -- $1.00 and up.
  • Tonsils and Adenoids -- $25.00 not to include anaesthetics.
  • Obstetrical work -- $20.00 and up.
  • Fractures and Dislocations -- Charges to be based on the schedule of the Workmen's Compensation Board.
